BigDataOcean’s fourth plenary meeting in Athens

The 4th plenary meeting of BigDataOcean project was held between the 6th and 7th of February 2018 in Athens. Ubitech hosted this well-organized event in an exceptional venue at the historical center of Athens. All partners were represented at the meeting, having in total 20 attendees.

During the first day of the meeting the consortium discussed each pilot’s use case progress, in the context of preparations for the upcoming evaluation phase. The BDO validation’s framework deliverable status was the next topic on the agenda, followed by the pilots’ readiness documentation deliverable status. After the lunch break, a brief presentation of the status and next steps of the forthcoming deliverables took place. The day concluded with sessions among the technical partners of the project, discussing the progress of the platform.

The second day of the meeting opened with the projects’ business cases and exploitation strategy followed by the dissemination and communication activities implemented since the last consortium meeting. The meeting concluded with partners planning actions to be taken before the upcoming review meeting.
