BigDataOcean

This year at Posidonia, as part of BigDataOcean project, two presentations took place at the booth of MarineTraffic. The first presentation, a joint effort from the National Technical University of Athens’s (NTUA) DSS Lab and UBITECH, showcased the fault prediction and proactive maintenance pilot progress of the project. The second presentation, run by MarineTraffic own Konstantinos Chatzikokolakis, pertained to the use of Big Data for the detection of abnormal vessel behavior, specifically in the context of the BigDataOcean project. Both presentations were very successful and drew many spectators.
